Written in 1929 and never before published. The original manuscript was passed down for 3 generations recently surfaced during the park's 75th anniversary celebration. Every 3rd Saturday of the Month
 
Do you love the real old-time Smoky mountain music?

Then you'll really enjoy hearing it live and even playing along if you like.  Great Smoky Mountains National Park is having an acoustic old time jam session every third Saturday of the month. Join us on the porch at Oconaluftee Visitor Center.  We'll be looking for you from 1-3 pm!
